- Request for Quotation No. Q1470080715 - VISITOR CENTER BOILER REPLACEMENT, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Mosca, Colorado. This solicitation is 100% small business concern set-aside. The Government will award a single firm, fixed price contract. The work of this contract consists of removal, replacement, and reconfiguration of the existing boilers, boiler controls, and associated piping and accessories that serve the radiant floor heating system in the 2003 Renovation portion of the Visitor Center. See attachment to solicitation for complete scope of work and itemized supply list. Great Sand Dunes National Park is located inside the boundaries of Great Sand Dunes National Park in the south end of the park on State Highway 150, in Alamosa County, Colorado. Work to be performed in accordance with specifications, plans and related Service Contract Act Wage Rates for Alamosa County, Colorado. A paper solicitation will not be issued. Only hard copy offers will be accepted. Electronic and faxed offers are not authorized. This is a best value procurement and award will be made based on price and price related factors. This solicitation is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 221330 and the small business standard is $6.5 million. All quotes submitted in a timely manner from qualified, responsible vendors will be considered. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted on electronic commerce on or about August 11, 2008. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors will be asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at website www.ccr.gov. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. Quotations are due by the close of business on August 25, 2008, unless extended. Anticipated award date is September 5, 2008. All work must be completed by November 30, 2008.
