- Description
- This purpose of this synopsis amendment is to update industry on the pending solicitation from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations, for the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Information Sharing and Knowledge Management Division (IM), Information Sharing and Collaboration Branch (IS&C). The Government is restructuring the requirement from a strictly Time and Material (T&M) type contract to a Performance Based, Firm Fixed Price effort; with minor T&M line items. A revised draft solicitation will be released in the near future. Industry will be afforded a brief comment period, prior to the release of a final solicitation. The solicitation remains 100% restricted to 8(a) businesses that are currently registered with the Small Business Administration. The Government does intend to conduct a Pre-Proposal Conference, and more information regarding that event will be posted on FedBizOps as soon as the logistics have been confirmed. This effort will be procured under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 15 as it has been determined that FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items will not be appropriate for this effort.
