- The Government has a need for Headstone and Marker placement and replacement as described in the soon to be posted Solicitation at the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis MO. Contractor to providing all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to place the estimated quantities listed. All work will be performed in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract period, which will run from 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009 for the base year and three subsequent option years, if exercised by the Government. This will be a commercial item procurement under FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) utilizing Request for Quote solicitation procedures. This procurement will be a Small Business Set-aside under NAICS code 561730. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or around 8/7/2008, with a due date of 08/29/2008, and an anticipated award date of 10/1/2008. The solicitation package along with any amendments will only be provided electronically through the Government's Point of Entry. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Email Julian.Lake@va.gov for questions and inquiries. This is a requirements contract and the Government does not guarantee any of the quantities listed in this schedule. Requests will be placed with the issuance of Government Delivery Orders.
