Description: Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agencys requirement, it has been determined by the agency that A&B Environmental Inc is the only source authorized to perform maintenance on various equipment located at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA. The items to be maintained and repaired include:Precision temperature and humidity chambers that create combination environments with temperature ranges from -100 degree F to +250 degree F, while maintaining ranges of relative humidity; ovens; salt fog cabinets that create a 5% salt fog atmosphere; artic cold cold chambers; and an altitude chamber that simulates atmospheres and environments up to 100,000 feet above sea level; maintain and repair three(3) separate scientific water humidification treatment systems that have the capability of filetring water to 18 megohms. This effort is a one-year service contract with Option for YEAR # 2 & YEAR # 3 RENEWALS.. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CSL or SAR information.
