Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 811310, Size Standard $6.5 Million. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2K3AQ8154A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 effective 12 June 2008. The Government intends to award two contract line item numbers (CLINs): (CLIN 0001) - Initial Inspection/Maintenance - Initially repair a 21-lane Target Retrieval System and a bullet debris trap system. To identify all maintance, repair and replacement of any parts needed to maintain this system IAW the attached Statement of Work (SOW) QUANTITY: 1 EACH (CLIN 0002) - Preventative Recurring Maintenance Program - Preventive Recurring Maintainance to be completed monthly IAW attached SOW QUANTITY: 4 MONTHS DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 31 August 2008-31 December 2008 FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 52.211-6 In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
