Description
The US Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&LLCMC) Acquisition Center, on behalf of The Program Executive Office, Combat Support and Combat Service Support, Assistant Product Manager for the At-Platform Automatic Test Systems develops, acquires, fields, and sustains ruggedized, compact, lightweight man-portable general purpose automatic test equipment to verify the operational status of Army Current, Interim and Objective Force weapon systems. A draft performance specification has been developed for APATS. The At-Platform Automatic Test Systems (APATS) of the Integrated Family of Test Equipment (IFTE) is the fifth generation multipurpose Armys standard automatic test equipment. It will be used throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) at all levels of maintenance to test and diagnose Armys highly complex communications, other electronic commodity equipment, missiles, aircrafts, and ground vehicles to identify failed line replaceable units (LRUs). The DoD maintainers will also use the APATS to host Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals/Electronic Technical Manuals and/or specific application software and to upload/download mission data or software. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Include company name, address, telephone number, technical point of contact, item nomenclature, item description, and brochure/literature. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. Electronic submittals are preferred. Interested contractors may request a draft performance specification by contacting: Miss Jessica Bird, Contract Specialist jessica.l.bird@us.army.mil Phone: 973 724 6965. Requests for a draft performance specification should be made no later than August 15, 2008.
