- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego),intends to award an indefinite delivery - indefinite quantity type contractwith acost plus fixed fee pricing arrangement to TranSystems Corporation of KansasCity, MO., a company which acquired Manalytics International. This action is afollow on to efforts performed by Manalytics International and TranSystemsCorporation under several other contracts for the Department of HomelandSecurity (DHS) Cargo Security Program as a transportation, logistics and supplychain consulting firm. The contract will be awarded pursuant to FAR 6.302-1:Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will SatisfyAgency Requirements. The contract will procure services to continue andcomplete economic analysis of components of the DHS Cargo SecurityProgram. The work is a continuation of previous efforts and is directlyapplicable to future phases of work, including the DHS Container SecurityCommunications Architecture. The contract will include a three year orderingperiod with an estimated value of $1,500,000. This notice is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available.Seenote 22.
