- The 96 Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for Solid State Drive to DRS Technologies, Inc., 5 Sylvan Way, Parsipanny, NJ 07054 under the authorithy of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Reference number F1T0DD8191AG01. Anticipated award date is 14 August 2008. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (3 Each), Solid State Drive, multi system controller (MSC) to include warranty. This item must be delivered to: 46 Test Wing, Bldg 33 MHU, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 no later than 180 days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334220, small business size standard: 750 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
