Description
THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ORDER TO NEURO LOGIC SYSTEMS INC. OF CAMARILLO, CA. based on the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 and 13.5. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg has only one known source for this procurement that is in the government's best interest. If there are any other potential sources, submit your capability statement via email to david.setters@navy.mil no later than 12 noon EST, 8 August 2008. The determination not to compete this requirement is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334119. The following two items are being procured: 1.)30 each Neuro-Logic 1U Rackmount 19 LCD with sealed backlit USB keyboard and track ball, LCD lockdown latches, built to mil specs for shock and vibration, 28 inch GD slide mount, 1U rugged cable mgmt retractor, two position lock out catches (p/n RFT2-19MIL-USB-SW1). 2.)20 each Neuro-Logic 1U rackmount 17 LCD with terminal emulation, rackmount slides and 1U cable retractor. This requirement is in support of the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Center (SPAWAR)-Philadelphia C4ISR Program Office's Image Product Library (IPL). The SPAWAR-Phila C4ISR (Command & Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) Programs Office is the primary hardware manager, integrator and depot support office for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency [NGA].
