Description
NSN 4320-01-331-8742, Pump, Rotary. I/A/W ESI Acquisition Corp. (5G568) part number 1002295; Haldex Hydraulics Corp. (70763) part number 1002295 and DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. (98255) part number SW28347. Estimated yearly quantity is 647; unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4320. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 2 Sep 08 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1H code and part numbered item. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase part from other than the current source; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U. S. C. 2304(c)(1). This solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and other than full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination or price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, MBA program, and JWOD support evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
