- NOTICE OF INTENT The US Army Medical Command for FORT GORDON has a requirement for High Flow Oscillatory Ventilator (HFOV). The Government intends to award a contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is VIASYS HEALTHCARE, RESPIRATORY CARE, 22745 SAVI RANCH PARKWAY, YORBA LINDA, CA 92887. CLIN # 0001 THRU 0004 0001 MicBlender W/23 H SNSRMDCS, H/L 0002 3100 Oscillator Extended Warranty 0003 3100B Oscillator 0004 Operator and Maintenance manual with schematics The VIASYS HEALTHCARE holes the original warranty on their manufactured item. This equipment is only marketed by VIASYS HEALTHCARE they also are the only manufacturer/distributors and the only company that is certified to work on this equipment. This purchase of this ventilator provides Pulmonologist and Intensivist with the necessary equipment adequately tread Acute Lung Injury (ALI) and Adult Respirator Distress syndrome (ARDS) patients which can not be accomplished with conventional mechanical ventilation. The VIASYS HEALTHCARE is the only vendor that can provide this highly specialized equipment and meets the requirements for this agency. Other technology commercial items cannot perform at the same level of service that is required. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide this type of maintenance service must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their services, past performance information, price and site coverage. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
