- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, N00104-08-Q-Q903, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is set aside for authorized small business resellers of Tripwire; see numbered note 1. The Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg has a requirement for Tripwire Manager Software and support; see the attached file for the required products and quantities. Brand name only; see the attached justification for details. Delivery and acceptance is at the Naval Air Systems Command, Building 447, Attn: Richard Brewer, Code 6.8.4, 47060 McLeod Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080721. The associated NAICS code is 541519 and the small business size standard is 150 employees. Offeror must complete and submit with its proposal, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items and DFARs 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-- The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
