- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared and processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement for the Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arizona State Office (ASO) located at One North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85004-2203. The DOI/BLM/Arizona State Office has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of a Steel Gooseneck Covered top stock horse trailer with high brush fenders for the BLM/Yuma Field Office. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ. No. AAQ080048. This constitutes the only Request For Quote (RFQ) that will be issued, a separate RFQ will not be issued. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote. Quotes shall be submitted to Santiago Almaraz, 9828 N. 31st Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85051 or emailed to Santiago_Almaraz@blm.gov by close of business, 4:30 PM Local Time, on August 27, 2008. This is a 100% set-aside for Total Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336214. The Small Business Administration size standard is 500 Employees. 1. SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall deliver to the DOI/BLM/Yuma Field Office, a Steel Gooseneck Covered top stock horse trailer with high brush fenders Brand Name or Equal with the following specifications: - Covered top stock trailer- High Brush Fenders- 20' Floor Length- 6' Wide- 2-6000# axles- 16" Tires and 8 hole wheels- 6'6" Body height (floor to roof)- 7' Gooseneck length - One Center gate- Double swing in and out butterfly rear gates- Rubber Mat flooring- Adjustable hitch stem with 2-5/16" coupler and safety chains with hooks- Spare tire, wheel and rack- Electric brakes on all wheels- DOT required lighting Note: Brand Name or Equal to a Brush Buster MT Guarantee: The equipment furnished under this contract shall be guaranteed against defective materials, design, and workmanship for the full warranty time which is standard with the manufacturer and/or supplier, but in no case less than one year from the date of acceptance either for beneficial use or final acceptance (whichever is earlier). Upon receipt of notice, from the Government, of failure of any part of the guaranteed equipment, during the guarantee period, the affected parts shall be replaced promptly with new parts at the expense of, and by, the contractor. 2. SUBMITTALS All quotes submitted shall include a detailed description and manufacturer to include make and model. 3. DELIVERY ADDRESSItem to be delivered to: Bureau of Land Management, Yuma Field Office, 2555 E. Gila Ridge Road, Yuma, Arizona 85365-2240. Point of Contact information for delivery purposes shall be released at time of award. 4. CONTRACT CLAUSESThis notice is hereby issued as RFQ No. AAQ080048. This RFQ will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated and in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. The FAR clauses and provisions are incorporated into this acquisition shall be: 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors- Commercial Items (Jun. 2008), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Jun. 2008). 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Feb. 2007), 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Jun. 2008) (Sections 5, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 28, 31, 36).
