- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for 2 each Polycom VSX 8000 Mobile Video Teleconferencing system. EACH system will include: 1 ea - 33" High Steel Rollabout VTC Cart with 60" Maximum Display w/ Camera Mount; 1 ea - Additional Codec Mount; 1 ea - Sharp LC52D64U 52" AQUOS 1920X1080 LCD Display with speakers and tuner; 1 ea - PolyCom VSX8400 Presenter with VTX, PowerCam Camera, Soundstation VTX 1000, 2 Ext Mics, Imageshare II, People+Content IP, English Remote; 1 ea - PolyCom Quad BRI; 1 ea - NT4 with Power Supply for ISDN; 1 ea - SurgeX Power Conditioning SR-1115; 1 ea - Integra DPS-5.5 Single Disk DVD Player with RE-232 interface; 1 ea - Rack Mount Kit for above; 1 ea - Miscellaneous Materials and Cables; 1 ea - Installation; 1 ea - GP-VSX8000VTX Gold Seal 1-Year Extended Warranty with Next Day Replacement, Software Updates, Unlimited Training, Far-End Support; and 1 ea - Freight, the destination for this item is Brooks City-Base, TX 78235-5123. The NAICS Code is 443112; size standard is 500 employees. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000.
