- The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to repair the Taxiway at Naval Station Mayport, Florida.Work includes demo, asphalt, coordination with continuing air operations, etc. This project is to be full and open competition and will be evaluated based on lowest price, technically acceptable. Specific evaluation factors are listed in the actual solicitation. This project will be divided into Base Bid Work and Bid Option Work as shown below (See Contract Drawings 15011859 thru 15011870): Base Bid(CLIN 0001): Seal all cracks greater than width on all of the taxiways within project limit as shown on NAVFAC Drawing 15011860. Tack and overlay south end of parallel taxiway thru taxiway Bravo intersection, including taxiway Charlie, Delta, and Echo. Re-stripe existing pavement markings following required curing time. Bid Option 1(CLIN 0002): Tack and overlay parallel taxiway from Base Bid to North end of parallel taxiway. Re-stripe existing pavement markings following required curing time. Bid Option 2(CLIN 0003): Tack and overlay taxiway Alpha. Re-stripe existing pavement markings following required curing time. Bid Option 3(CLIN 0004): Tack and overlay taxiway Bravo East. Re-stripe existing pavement markings following required curing time. Bid Option 4(CLIN 0005): Tack and overlay taxiway Bravo West. Re-stripe existing pavement markings following required curing time. Bid Option 5(CLIN 0006): Tack and overlay taxiway Foxtrot. Re-stripe existing pavement markings following required curing time. Bid Option 6(CLIN 0007): Provide 10 wide paved shoulder. Completion will be a total of 171 days with the following break down: Base Bid - 60 calendar daysOption 1 - 30 calendar daysOption 2 - 15 calendar daysOption 3 - 21 calendar daysOption 4 15 calendar daysOption 5 15 calendar daysOption 6- 15 calendar days No paper solicitations will be issued. All contractors are responsible for checking NECO website for amendments prior to proposal due date. Please register as a bidder on the NECO website so as to receive notice of such amendments. CONFERENCE BLOCK Site visit will be held 1000 on August 27th, 2008. Contractors will meet at Bldg. 1966, NS Mayport, FL.
