- Description: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is hereby conducting a market survey of all potential sources of Flight Deck Non-Skid Cleaners. No proposals are being accepted with this synopsisthis does not preclude the Government from considering procurement of materials, equipment, or services as a result of the information provided in response to this request. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division-Ship Systems Engineering Station (NSWCCD-SSES) seeks descriptive literature from private industry, academia, and government entities concerning cleaning of flight deck nonskid on U.S. Navy ships. At a minimum, the products sought must be both commercially available and have a recommended seawater dilution of 1:18 or higher (i.e., lower cleaner concentration). The Government is looking for current and available technology in the open market, not new technology in a developmental stage. This market survey in no way binds the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government. NSWCCD may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements and may request a presentation and/or a site visit as deemed necessary.
