- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00244-08-T-0633. This solicitation documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 effective June 12, 2008 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far. The NAICS code is 334517, business size is 500 employees. A single award, firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to be awarded as a result of the RFQ. This requirement is to acquire dual-energy x-ray absorption with software and one year maintenance. Brand name: Hologic or equal. The attached copy of the solicitation contains a complete description for of the item and applicable provisions and clauses. The Government is seeking quotations for new materials only.
