Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the formal in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), solicitation number 08-Q-0035. This requirement is to provide lodging for Government personnel traveling to Whiteman Air Force Base in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Facilities must be within a 25 mile radius of the Spirit Gate, Whiteman Air Force Base. Reservation dates are non-negotiable and contractors must bid each room for the entire reservation stated in the bid schedule. Prospective contractors should review the attachment and complete the Bid Schedule for the number of rooms that can be provided for the required reservation dates. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be necessary to fulfill the total requirement. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Best value consideration will be given to quality, price, and quantitiy of rooms offered. Awards will be issued to the least amount of contractors meeting the SOW criteria as necessary to fulfill requirement. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation will not be made available. Note: Quotations must be received by 30 August, 1:00 PM CST. Prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) ( www.ccr.gov ) in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. Registration is required in the CCR database in order to receive a Government contract. DFARS Provision 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3 and DFARS Provision 252.212-7000 with their quote (Note: On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) has been implemented in FAR Clause 52.212-3 effective 01 Jan 05.
