- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for 30 LB, 50 LB, and 125 LB Cylinders of R 22 Refrigerant. The R 22 Refrigerant is to be delivered F.O.B. destination to SSA, Operations Building Loading Dock, 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235-0001 between the hours of 7:30am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday, within 30 days of contract award. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE: This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 325110. For Non-Manufacturers, the size standard is 500 employees. SSA anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order for this requirement. This requirement will be procured utilizing procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 21, 2008. The RFQ will be issued under solicitation number SSA-RFQ-08-1859.
