- Description
- The Government intends to award a commercial item (FAR Part 12) sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Boston Scientific, under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. The BPA is for Neurovascular Coils on a consignment basis. This BPA will provide Neurovascular Coils on a consignment basis to VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073, Veteran's Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. Delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government in the form of deficient patient care. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The Government intends to award a firm - fixed price BPA for a 5 year period with the Government's option to review the BPA on an annual basis beginning at the first of each year. The solicitation is to be issued on or about August 20, 2008, with offers due on or about August 24, 2008. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. NAICS #339113, Size Standard is $6.5 million.
