- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: low voltage power supplies (qty. 20) required to support the Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube (SVTT) Program installation of Ordnance Alteration (ORDALT) 15713 which modifies the Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube (SVTT) MK 32 launchers to make them compatible with the MK 50 Torpedo. NAICS Code is 334419. Size standard is 500 employees. It is expected to place a Firm Fixed Price type contract with Advanced Conversion Technology. They are the only known source for these items due to the unique size and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements. Offers for other products must contain complete information, prices and delivery terms. This requirement is unclassified. Vendor must be JCP certified (http://www.dlis.dla.mil/default.asp) to receive drawings. Drawings will be provided and sent under separate cover upon the release of solicitation #N66604-08-R-4857, which is anticipated to be on or about 09/10/2008. Required delivery is 6 mths. ARO, F.O.B.
