- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The solicitation number is F2Q3668207A001 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS change notice 20080721. This purchase is restricted to 100% Small Business concern. The NAICS code is 314912 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is a brand name or equal requirement for fans; state discount terms and warranty information. The contractor shall provide the following items: Services, non-personal: Contractor to provide all parts, labor, tools, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to purchase and repair Item 0001: 14600-A, ANCHOR, DEFENDER MESH SAFETY COVER, 3-0 WEB SPACING MESH GREEN FOR "L" SHAPED POOL (Two rectangular shapes that are 82' x 45', and 33' x 30') QTY: 1 U/I: UN Item 0002: 14600-B, ANCHOR, DEFENDER MESH SAFETY COVER, 3-0 WEB SPACING MESH GREEN FOR ROUND PLAY POOL Diameter 25', Radius 12.5' QTY: 1 U/I: UN Item 0003: INSTALLATION FOR BOTH POOLS QTY: 1 U/I: UN Item 0004: SHIPPING/FREIGHT COSTS QTY: 1 U/I: UN The tarp is made of 'defender web mesh' with a load weight of approx. 2000lbs. with the anchors installed. Two diving boards are located in the bottom right of the pool on the 33ft side. There is also a water slide which needs to be accounted for. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies; quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1. technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement for Pool Covers or equal; 2. Price; 3. Delivery Date (see FAR 15.304).
