- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) 09SQ340023 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. This RFQ is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and this procurement is 100% set aside for HUBZone small business concerns; however, small businesses are encouraged to submit quotes. In the event the contracting officer receives no acceptable offers from HUBZone small business concerns, the HUBZone set-aside will be withdrawn and the requirement, if still valid, will be converted to a set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Code System code for this solicitation is 331111 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver new Stainless Steel Pipes, Tees, Elbows, Flanges, and Concentric Reducers, in various sizes and quantities for use for the Brine Reject Header, at the Yuma Desalting Plant, Yuma, Arizona. Delivery is required 45 days after receipt of order. FOB Point is the Bureau of Reclamation, Warehouse, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 85364. Effective as of October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. The following information is required to register: (1) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN); (2) DUNS Number or Cage Code; (3) Telephone Number; (4) E-mail addresses. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information. All notification of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the internet. Therefore, Offerors who have registered are required to review Federal Business Opportunities for any posted changes to the solicitation. The RFQ contains the following: a description of the requirement including the quantities and all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due September 8, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. local time and may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Contracting Office (YAO-3100), 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 85364.
