- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, W91243-08-T-0033, is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This is a small business set-aside referencing NAICS code 333513 with a size standard of 500 employees. Item 0001, one each, Hydraulic Shear, Betenbender Model 8-1875 "or equal". To include characteristics: one shot lubrication; neoprene hold down caps; 5 Station NC "GO-TO" Backgauge Positioner; front support arms with scales; Solid Table Top - Bolt on segments; electric motor for shear, 10HP, 3 phase, 208 volts; squaring arm would extend o/a 4 ft. Size: 8 foot by 3/16 inch. Item 0002, Off loading, rigging, leveling and anchoring at government destination. All "or equal" offers will provide specifications, descriptive literature of product offered and country of manufacture. Desired delivery date is 60 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination to GRAND ISLAND NE, zip code 68801; note, if other than destination freight charges will be evaluated with overall price. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Buy Amercian Act shall apply to this solicitation. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this RFQ and price is the specific evaluation criteria. All offerors will complete a copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer. Numbered Note One (1) applies to this quotation. Offers are due 16 September 2008 no later than 1:00 p.m. CST at the USPFO for Nebraska, 1234 Military Rd, Lincoln NE 68508.
