- Description
- The purpose of this amendment to RFQ TCQ080009 is to extend the solicitation response date to September 16, 2008, 4:30 Local Time. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the same. This amendment also schedules a Solicitation period site visit as identified below. SITE VISIT:Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Offerors shall notify the government of intention to attend the Site Visit no later than Friday September 5, 2008, Close of Business, 4:30 PM (Local). Notifications shall be sent by email to: santiago_almaraz@blm.gov. If government receives no response for attendance, Site Visit shall be cancelled without further notification. The site visit is only intended to be a brief facility walkthrough.(b)Communications with incumbent contractor employees or federal government support personnel is not permitted. Project Representatives will be available on-site for any related technical concerns or questions.(c)One-on-One meetings with National Training Center or contracting staff are not planned, will not be scheduled and are not permitted at anytime.(d)Oral questions pertaining to the site and facilities may be asked during the site visit - but oral responses will not be binding.(e)Discussions during the site visit will be limited to questions related to the specific site location where services are to be performed, the general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance.(f)Questions regarding the contents of the solicitation will not be addressed during the site visit; such questions are to be submitted electronically via e-mail to santiago_almaraz@blm.gov or faxed to (602) 906-5651, Attn: Santiago Almaraz, Contract Specialist.(g)It is the intent of the BLM - National Training Center not to hold a question/answer session during the site visit.
