- REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease 6,935 7,665 rentable square feet of contiguous office/flex/retail space for the Census Bureau in Bloomington, IN - together with three (3) on-site reserved parking spaces. LOCATION: BLOOMINGTON, IN MUST BE WITHIN THE 9TH INDIANA US CONGRESSTIONAL DIST. NORTH: FROM RTE 37 AND KINSER PIKE. SOUTH TO BAYLES RD. EAST ON BAYLES RD TO WALNUT ST., SOUTH TO OLD STATE RD 37, EAST TO DUNN ST., SOUTH TO. STATE RD 46, EAST TO STATE ROUTE 45 EAST TO SMITH RD TO STATE ROUTE 46. EAST: AT 3RD ST., SOUTH ON STATE ROUTE 46 TO MOORES PIKE. WEST ON MOORES PIKE TO OLCOTT BLVD.,AND SOUTHWEST ALONG OLCOTT BLVD. AND SARA ROAD TO RHORER ROAD. SOUTH: AT RHORER ROAD AND SARA ROAD, WEST TO ROGERS ST., NORTH TO COUNTRY CLUB DR., WEST TO STATE ROUTE 45. WEST: STATE ROUTE 45. REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and located on one floor in commercial, retail, or industrial/flex space. The building should have a loading dock or have forklift accessibility for deliveries. Lease should be Full Service; all services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy Monday August 17, 2009. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or employee parking within three (3) blocks sufficient to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. A variety of inexpensive, and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants within three blocks, and other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should be available within one-half (1/2) mile. Property located within a base floodplain (100-year floodplain) or wetland will not be considered. The building offered must not contain asbestos. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) or capable of being altered to meet ABAAS. The building must also conform to current seismic requirements. LEASE TERM: Term is 16 months, 12 months firm.
