Description
REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease 5,700-6,300 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space for the Census Bureau in Chicago (Far Southwest), Illinois together with three (3) on-site reserved parking spaces. The space must be within the delineated area described below. LOCATION: The area in Chicago (Far Southwest), Illinois within the following boundaries: NORTH BOUNDARY: Take I-55 to Rte. 43, take Rte. 43 to 63rd on 63rd St. go east to Pulaski Rd. on Pulaski Rd., head south to 111th St., go west to S. Oak Park Ave. on Oak Park Ave., go north to Southwest Hwy. Head southwest on Southwest Hwy. to State Rte. 43. on State Rte. 43, go north on 63rd St. EAST BOUNDARY: From 90/94, exit 79th St. head west on 79th St. to Pulaski. Take Pulaski south to 111th St. on 111th St. go west to S. Oak Park Blvd. Take Oak Park Blvd north to Southwest Hwy. Take Southwest Hwy. west to State Rte. 43 north to 63rd St. Take 63rd St. east to Cicero Ave. south on Cicero Ave. to 67th St. then east to Pulaski Rd. SOUTH BOUNDARY: On I-294 exit at 115th St. West on S. Oak Park Ave. on Oak Park Ave., travel north to Southwest Hwy. South on Southwest Hwy. to Rte. 43 to 63rd St. Take 63rd St. east to Cicero Ave. take Cicero south to 67th St. Take 67th St. east to Pulaski. Take S. Pulaski Rd. south to 111th St. WEST BOUNDARY: On I-294 to Archer Ave. exit head north to 79th St. take 79th St. east to Rte. 43 north to 63rd St. Take 63rd St. Cicero Ave. Take Cicero Ave. to 67th St. take 67th St. to S. Pulaski Rd. take S. Pulaski Rd. to 111th St. take 111th St. to S. Oak Park Ave. to Southwest Hwy. take Southwest Hwy. west to Rte 43, take Rte 43 north. *NOTE: All sites must be located within the Illinois 3rd US Congressional District REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and located on one floor in commercial, retail, industrial/flex or warehouse space. The building should have a loading dock or have forklift accessibility for deliveries. Lease should be “Full Service;” all services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or employee parking within three (3) blocks sufficient to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. A variety of inexpensive, and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants within three blocks, and other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should be available within one-half (1/2) mile. Property located within a base floodplain (100-year floodplain) or wetland will not be considered. The building offered must not contain asbestos. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) or capable of being altered to meet ABAAS. The building must also conform to current seismic requirements. LEASE TERM: Term is 16 months, 12 months firm.
