- NAICS Code: 334516 NAICS Code: 334516, Notice of Intent Synopsis: The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a sole source order under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items to Leco Corporation, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 under the North American IndustryClassification System (NAICS) code 334516. The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5, Central Regional Laboratory requires a model TRUTOF, HT GC-TOFMS mass spectrometer. The description of the commercial item reads as follows: Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer with an electron impact(El) ionization source a mass range of 5 to l000u, unit mass resolution across the mass range, and acquisition rates of 1 to 80 full range mass spectra per second. The differentially pumped system allows a range of helium flows from 0 to 5mL/min. The system also includes a workstation with Pegasus ChromaTOF software consisting of a state of the art computer tower; RIVV DVD-CD drive, Modem, and NIST mass spectral library search program and database (CD Format). And includes 999-AGILENT-734359, Agilent 7890 GC w/ 240V Oven Power Supply, Capillary S/SL Inlet with EPC and Capillary LN2 PTV Inlet with EPC and Septum Head. Pneumatics Control Module (PCM) and Dean's Switch Included. Training Course with software, 1-day on-site. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the foregoing product may submit a response, by the closing date of this announcement, to Janusz Porosilo at porosilo.janusz @ epa.gov. Information furnished shall include enough detailed documentation to allow the government to perform a proper evaluation. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICATATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
