- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA4877-08-Q-0627 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-23. (iv) This procurement is being issued for full and open competition under NAICS code 334310. (v) The contractor shall provide the following: 1. HD VTC that can go both secure and non-secure; TS and above (for large conference rooms) • Allows user to share content with remote sites to share PC data and information from other sources • Internal MCU supports up to four participants (un-secure) in a single conference • VTC must be able to use our current PBX (ISDN) telephone system and have future capability to go secure IP. • Camera must be able to cover large room with a table of 25' L X 8' W or greater (conference area) 2. HD projector that has PIP, multiple screen, and shock resistant mounting. 3. Smart board interactive whiteboard that must be 85' W X 49" H (EX: SMART Board 690) • Provide wide enough area to have multi screens on one board 4. Microphones needed to cover three zones and allow interaction from commander's seat 5. Remote touch panel to control VTC and other audio/visual components 6. Secure/Non-Secure switch 7. Install additional jacks for laptops and desktop interface 8. Provide and install ceiling speakers, four minimum 9. Support equipment for seamless operations 10. Three year warranty with technical support and training A site visit has been scheduled for 5 September 2008 at 1:00 PM PST. All interested parties need to reply to MSgt Lindblom if they are going to attend site visit. Site visit is not required to supply quote, but is highly encouraged to better understand requirement. Please ensure that all shipping charges and applicable fees are included into the price of line item 1. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
