- SUBJECT: EQUIPMENT UPGRADE FOR VTC CONFERENCE ROOMSThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. Responses shall reference Request for Quotations No. DE-RQ26-08NT001035 the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pittsburgh, PA, intends to purchase the following: 1. HDX 7001XL W/CODEC, EAGLE EYE HD CAMERA, HDX MIC ARRAY, P+C, PPCIP, 2ND. MONITOR OPTION, ENG RMT CABLES, 2-COMPONENT VIDEO (DV1-RCA), AUDIO (RCA-RCA) LAN NA PWR, CNTRY CODE 54, NTSC. 2 EACH 2. EAGLE EYE CAMERA WALL/PANEL/SHELF MOUNTING BRCKET. 2 EACH. 3. QUAD BRI MODULE FOR HDX SERIES, INCLUDES 4)ISDN 20/6M CABLES (W/CLEAR CONNECTORS) AND HDX EXTERNAL PERIPHERAL INTERFACE BOX 2 EACH. 4. CABLE AND CONNECTORS (DVI-1-VGA) MONITOR 2 EACH. 5. MONITOR VIEWSONIC 42 LVDTV 1080P 2 EACH. 6. CART FOR MONITOR, SCRATCH RESISTANT BLACK LAMINATE FINISH FULLY ASSEMBLED, INCLUDES LOCKING REAR DOOR 2 EACH. 7. TABLE TOP PLASMA MOUNT 2 EACH. 8. ON-SITE INSTALLATION SERVICE FOR HDX 7000 SERIES W/CART AND DISPLAY 2 EACH. 9. ON-SITE MAINTENANCE FOR HDX 7000 SERIES ONLY, PREMIER PLUS, CD-CRITICAL CARE 2 EACH. *****NOTICE: SPECIAL SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. THE OTHER COMPLETE SYSTEM WILL BE SHIPPED TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY NATIONAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY (NETL) ATTN: MR. JERRY WAGNER 626 COCHRANS MILL ROAD PITTSBURGH, PA 15236-0940 DELIVERY: FOB Destination is required (all freight included). The provisions at 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (JAN 1999) does not apply to this acquisition. Instead, the following information will be used for evaluation of offerors: An award shall be made to the responsible offeror submitting a technically acceptable quote and offering the best value evaluated price. Evaluation is based on best value to the Government including cost and ability to meet stated requirements above. Offerors shall submit descriptive literature and drawings detailing features, technical capabilities and warranty data. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted response to this provision as it compares to the minimum characteristics provided above. Therefore, it is essential that offerors provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc., in order for the Government evaluation team to make an adequate technical assessment of the quote as meeting technical acceptability. Price shall be the deciding factor among technically acceptable quotes. The North American Industry Classification (NIAC) is 334310. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL SUBMIT OFFERS WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Federal Tax Identification (TIN); Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS); and remit to address if different. A Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order shall be issued using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. This is a small business set-aside.
