- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement three (3) electric cargo vans and two (2) electric passenger vans. See attachment for general requirements. This procurement is unrestricted in regard to business size or type. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336112, Light Truck and Utility Vehicle Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. When responding to this Request For Offer (RFO), each offeror is required to submit technical specifications and a price quote. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached RFO document(s). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the RFO document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Randall L. Bratcher, Contract Specialist (AMQ-310), via e-mail at randall.bratcher@faa.gov or FAX number 405-954-3030. Technical specifications and price quotes are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local time (Central Time Zone), September 11, 2008 and must be submitted to Randall L. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
