Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) W912CM-08-T-0191 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (iii) Applicable NAICS code to the below line items is 511210. The solicitation is on brand-name-or-equal-basis. The salient features: multi-lingual profile as it is needed in the operation of a Fire Department in Germany, includes alarm dispatch, fire protection, fire prevention and training. The software must ensure and document the testing of fire department related items, physical examination, fire inspections, and all safety and testing required in the operation of the fire department. (v) Date of Delivery: To be stated by the offeror, Place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point: USAG, Ansbach in Germany. Specific address will be stated on the award document. (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offers may be submitted by email or faxed to the designated point of contact. (vii) Award will be made on low priced offer that meets the salient characteristics of the required software/hardware. Award is on all or none basis to ensure that all parts fit together.
