- (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format stated in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are hereby being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.(2) The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the quoter whose quotation provides the best value to the Government. The National Park Service intends to make award to the quoter who provides the lowest total quoted price, including freight. However, the Government may make multiple awards if it is found in the Government's best interest. The items per this RFQ are Brand Specific as they will be an addition to and must match currently existing furnishings. The brand name products are essential to the Government's requirements as specified in Federal Acquisitions Regulation 11.105. Allsteel is the specified brand of products required for this solicitation. (3) The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS).(4) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09.(5) Solicitation #:Q002608C040. QUOTED ITEMS MUST BE EXACT, AS REQUESTED.Any quotations for items other than exactly as requested above, will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. All of the requested items as listed above shall be of exact brand and specifications of existing furnishings. (B). Quotation submitted shall be for all requested items.(C). Quotation for shipping all of items shall be FOB destination, Lakewood CO. 80228 (L). Warranty shall be standard warranty as available to the public. B) SUBMITTALSnone required.C) MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENTThe measurement for the materials will be the exact quantities as specified per the awarded order. Payment will be made per the awarded item prices. D) CCR REGISTRATIONAll vendors wishing to be considered for this solicitation must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to the expected date of award (09/17/2009). Registration in the CCR database may be completed via www.ccr.gov.
