Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued as solicitation, FA2517-08-T-6181. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. (iv) This acquisition is procured as full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423430 and the size standard is 100 employees. A single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes. As part of your quote, you are required to fill out the item listing as written mirroring line item, quantity, unit, part number description, price and total extend price information. (v) The following commercial items listing are requested. The clause at FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999), applies to this acquisition. For equal items, you must include descriptive literature and a picture of the item if possible. You are required to submit your quote using the items listing, otherwise your quote will be considered nonresponsive. (See attached "System Drops Equipment - Item Listing" for required items and descriptions) (vi) The commercial items listed are for System Drops equipment; these items include cables, fibers, and connectors to provide connectivity to the network for people and computers. (vii) All items listed shall be priced and delivery be FOB destination to Peterson AFB, CO and required delivery is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Please specify other delivery terms as applicable. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. (JUNE 2008) (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation--Commercial Items (a) (JUNE 1999), applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on lowest price meeting the Brand Name and Part Numbers listed.
