- AMENDMENT TO SYNOPSIS The 3 July 2008, 82d Contracting Squadron, Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas synopsis for the procurement and installation of up to 4 rows of prefabricated STEEL aircraft shelters to cover up to 40 T-6 aircraft parking spaces, located on the 80th Flying Training Wing Aircraft Parking Apron is amended as follows: The government is considering the inclusion in the solicitation of the procurement and installation of up to three (3) rows of additional Prefabricated STEEL Aircraft Shelters to cover up to thirty-six (36) T-38 training aircraft. Specific aircraft dimensions and requirements will be incorporated in an amendment to the solicitation and addendum to the Statement of Work. A formal follow-up site visit will not be conducted. Only those offerer's who submitted a proposal by the original solicitation closeout date of 15 August 2008 will be considered by this Agency. The anticipated issue date of the amendment to the solicitation is on or about 15 September 2008. Proposal submission due date will be finalized in the amendment to the solicitation.
