- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Sub Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F3H3A28205A001 is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. This solicitation is for BRAND NAME OR EQUAL items; the NAICS Code is 811113; the NAICS size standard is $7 Million. 55 CONS intends to issue a firm fixed priced purchase order for delivery of the following items: Repair of Fire Truck Transmission Model TD61-1172. OR EQUAL. - Scope of Work: This Statement of Work consists of contractor tear-down, diagnose, and repair of subject transmission. The contractor shall provide all albor, equipment, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the work specified herein. - Major Items of Work: - Transport transmission to work facilities - Tear Down - Diagnose - Repair using new parts - If the transmission is beyond repair the contractor shall notify the contracting officer and not proceed with any further work. All quotes should be received NLT Friday, 12 September 2008, at 12:00 pm (CST), and sent electronically via e-mail, if possible, to scott.butler@offutt.af.mil or faxed to (402) 294-7280. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY Friday, 12 September 2008, at 12:00 pm (CST), will make an offeror ineligible for award. Also, the contractor must have the NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration.
