- Description
- Repair Aircraft Hangar Doors. Andrews Air Force Base is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) service contract for maintenance and repair of hangar doors at Andrews AFB. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to make preventive and safety repairs to aircraft hangar doors at the following facilities 1714, 1734, 1754, 1794, 1914, 1280, 1915, 1225, 3640 & 3635 on Andrews AFB, MD 20762. All repair work shall be in accordance with normal commercial practices. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 811310. The period of peformance will be from 1 October 2008 to 30 September 2009. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 19.502, this action is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
