- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled HIGH TEMPERATURE DILATOMETERAPPARATUS NNA08260337Q-ABH which was posted on August 15, 2008. You are notified that the following changes are made: This requirement is now beingsolicited on a FULL AND OPEN BASIS. ALL RESPONSIBLE COMPANIES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTE. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for ONE HIGH TEMPERATUREDILATOMETER APPARATUS. The Thermal Protection Materials and Systems Branch will use this High TemperatureDilatometer apparatus for their work in high temperature materials and thermal protectionsystems.This apparatus shall be compatible with NASA Ames existing NETSZCH mass spectrometer(QMS 403C). This hardware compatibility will allow researchers to link both hardwareand software linking the proposed NETZSCH high temperature dilatometer data to datagenerated by the mass spectrometer. Please see the attached statement of work for a complete listing of the specificationsneeded for this requirement.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-26.The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334519respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for thisprocurement.Delivery to NASA Ames Research Center is required within 3-6 months after award. Delivery shall be FOB Destination.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by September 22, 2008 @ 11 a.m. PST to NASA Ames Research Center M/S 241-1 Attn: Christine L. Munroe Bldg. 241 Room 225 MoffettField, CA 94035 or (e-mail) to Christine.L.Munroe@nasa.gov. Quotes must include,solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number(TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorizedcompany representative.
