Description

Notice of intent to award a Sole Source procurement. The government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for a Global Navigational Satellite System Simulator (GNSS) and a technical training course on the setup, operation, and reconfiguration of the simulator to SPIRENT Federal Systems, Inc., 22345 La Palma Ave Ste 105, Yorba Linda, CA 92887-3822. The simulator is a high end satellite simulator that replicates the frequencies, signal structures, and power levels for GPS and GLONASS satellites and constellation architectures. The simulator must be upgradeable to facilitate future upgrades to include GALILEO signals. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive prospects.
