- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA4877-08-Q-0611 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-23. (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 423440 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following: 1) Furnish items for 5th ASOS Heritage Room to include: 1. 2 each 48x72x18 deep Freestanding Lighted Display Case (custom mounts for items) 2. 1 each 24x72x24 deep Freestanding Lighted Display Tower (customized memorial) 3. 2 each 48x10x24 deep Freestanding Lighted Display Case (custom mounts for items) 4. 2 each 60x50x20 deep Freestanding Lighted Display Case (feat. Adjustble glass shelves) 5. Bronze Star "Perpetual wall" display 22x40 with engraved plaque for each recipient 6. Purple Heart "Perpetual wall" display 22x40 with engraved plaque for each recipient 7. Silver Star "Perpetual wall" display 22x20 with custom framed photo of recipent 8. Flag Display, custom sewn flag for each country liberated. 8 flags 9. Custom built Shadow Boxes 22 ½ x 26 ¾ x 4 in for WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Panama/Grenada, Desert Storm. 10. Iraq and Afghanistan custom built Shadow Boxes 32x40x4 in. 11. 5th ASOS custom sewn banner 12. TACP custom sewn banner showing history of the TACP 13. Fallen soldiers photos framed. 2) Incorporate taxes and shipping into unit price of products. FOB Destination to Fort Lewis, Washington. 3) A site visit will be held in which attendance will be mandatory for offers to be considered. A site visit has been scheduled for this project. Proposed date is Friday 12 September 2008 at 10 a.m. Please arrive at Fort Lewis Visitor's Center NLT 9:45 a.m. Please ensure that interested parties have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration.
