- Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Yuma, AZ has a requirement for all labor, supervision, transportation for pickup and delivery services, supplies, vehicles, tools, and equipment to provide a contractor-owned contractor-operated (COCO) laundry service to provide and deliver clean 12" x 12" Grade A #1 Shop Towels to, and remove dirty and soiled towels from various MCAS Yuma locations. Contract shall be for a one-year base period of 1 October 2008 through and including 30 September 2009. The contractor is required to comply with Marine Corps Directives and all federal, state, and local Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rules, regulations, and laws as they pertain to the proper handling and recycling of used shop towels that may contain oils, greases, paints, solvents, and other hazardous constituents. This is a requirements contract. A single award will result from the solicitation. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Quantities are estimates and not guaranteed!. Detailed item descriptions and quantities will be included in the solicitation package. Quoter must pick-up and deliver shop towels onsite at various buildings throughout MCAS Yuma and the Cannon Air Defense Complex Facility twice weekly on designated days. The Cannon Air Defense Complex Facility is located approximately 10 miles east of MCAS Yuma. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 812332 and the Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 7218. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number M62974-09-T-8008 is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be issued on or about 10 September 2008. It is anticipated the closing date will be 22 September 2008, 3:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. All responsible quoters may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective quoters are re! sponsible for monitoring the site for any amendments. All interested quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to receive an award. All interested quoters must be willing to invoice electronically through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Information on WAWF can be obtained at http://www.wawftraining.com.
