- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1045833. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Quotations are due 9/12/2008, by 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time. The Offers are due in person, by mail or fax. The RFQ must reference solicitation number 1045833. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. The associated NAICS code is 511210 Software Publishers. The Food and Drug is soliciting for the following item: Viocare lifestyle assessment database to operate with existing FDA NCTR Nutrigenomics database platform Contract Type: Fixed Price Responses to this solicitation shall include both technical and cost information; technical will receive paramount consideration over cost information. The Government reserves the right to award without discussion. The Quote shall include all specifications, descriptive material, literature, brochures and other information; the government is not responsible for locating or securing any information not included with the offerors quote. Offerors must include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items with its offer. Offeror’s must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made.
