Description

The Government intends to negotiate a competitive procurement for 20 Panasonic Toughbooks (CF-19FHGEXAM) and 20 Panasonic Memory (CF-WMBA601GIS). This requirement will support the Special Operations Command South, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD. Since this is a brand name acquisition, the Brand Name Justification is attached to this combined Synopsis/Request for Proposal in accordance with FAR 5.102 (a) (6). Please note the required delivery date of October 11, 2008 which appears in the Request for Proposal. For the Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423430. NOTE: DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A, Required Central Contractor Registration, applies to all solicitations issued on/after 6/1/98. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Please ensure compliance with this registration when submitting your statement. Call 1-888-227-2423 or view at http://www.ccr.gov/ for more information. Furthermore, the contractor awardee shall be required to self-register at https://wawf.eb.mil to ensure compliance and utilization of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). 52.204-8 requires that each offeror complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website at http://www.bpn.gov. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, including Alt 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications / Commercial Items (JUN 2008) with its quote including DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certification / Commercial Items (JUN 2005) if applicable.
