- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 161339162484 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. The NAICS code 333312 Commercial Laundry, Drycleaning, and Pressing Machine Manufacturing. The delivery date shall be after February 2, 2009. This Solicitation is compromised of: I. SPECIFICATIONS II. FORMAT AND SUBMISSION OF QUOTE III. EVALUATION FACTORS IV. CONTRACT CLAUSES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I. SPECIFICATIONS Laundry Washer --minimum capacity of 40 pounds --programmable automation system --constructed of corrosion resistant parts (i.e. stainless steel) --soft-mounted washer: the machine will be on a floor with a crawl space, basement, or another floor below it --energy-efficient --hot/cold water connection --commercial grade --two-year warranty --Wascomat soft-mount EX640 with Clarus Control or equivalent Laundry Dryer --minimum capacity of 75 pounds --gas or electric powered --interior parts are corrosion resistant (i.e. galvanized steel) --automatic heat shut off if the airflow is blocked --two-year warranty --Wascomat TD75 Gas Powered Dryer or equivalent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ II. FORMAT AND SUBMISSION OF QUOTE A. Line Items 0100 Commercial Washer, unit price for one, delivery to zip code 20223 after February 2, 2009, with a total price for four units 0200 Option for one Commercial Washer, unit price for one, delivery to zip code 20223, option period from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 0300 Commercial Dryer, unit price for one, delivery to zip code 20223 after February 2, 2009, with a total price for four units Part B. Contractor Information Provide the nine-digit DUNS and the nine-digit TIN. DUNS is used to verify that the vendor is in CCR. The Taxpayer Identification Number is necessary for electronic payment. By submitting a proposal, the Offeror acknowledges the Government requirement to be in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. Information about CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov. Part C. Product Specifications Offeror shall include descriptive literature of items to be provided, or a product specification sheet, such as a PDF brochure or other document, so that USSS may determine that the product meets the specifications above. Submit Parts A, B and C to Mishelle Miller via email or fax only. Submitting via email is preferred. Your entire email must not be greater than 3 MB; if your quote is above that limit, please send multiple emails. Faxed Parts A, B and C will be accepted. Please put 161339 Commercial Washer in the subject line. All quotes will receive a confirmation email; if you do not receive a confirmation then your quote has not been received. EVALUATION FACTORS The contract type for this procurement will be fixed price and award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. Selection will be based on the following evaluation factors, in order of importance: (1) offerors capability to provide a quality product that meets the needs of the government; (2) length and coverage of warranty; (3) past performance, caliber of offerors performance on previous contracts of a similar nature; and (4) Total cost or price. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ V.
