- Sources Sought. National Security Technologies, LLC is seeking sources that can provide a centrifugal fan with the following requirements: No. of Fans: 1 Each Power supply: 480V, 60 Hz, 3 Ø Installation Type: Surface Inlet and Outlet Screens: Yes Min. Efficiency: 80% Instrumentation: Sound Attenuation: Yes Fan Bearing Vibration: Yes Remote Start/Stop: Yes Fan and Motor Bearing Temp.: Yes Isolation Dampers: Yes Motor Winding Temp.: Yes VFD Required: Yes Fan Static Pressure: Yes Fan Pressure (in w.g.): 40.0 Airflow (kcfm): 42 U12g Portal Elevation (ft): 6,150 Air Density (lb/cu ft): 0.60 High Temperature (º F): 90 Low Temperature (º F): -10 General Functional Requirements and Notes: Primary components of fan installation shall have an expected life-span of twenty years. Fan and associated ducting shall include attached grad-points for installation and maintenance purposes. Fan should be capable of start-up under full-load conditions. Fan pressure referenced above is for delivered fan pressure. Operational and Maintenance manuals required. Design Criteria: Electrical components, devices, and accessories: listed and labeled as defined in NFPA 70, Article 100, by a testing agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction, and marked for intended use. AMCA Compliance: In-factory/prior-to-delivery testing to be conducted in compliance with AMCA Standard 2310 and AMCA Publication 802. NEMA Compliance: Motors and electrical accessories shall comply with NEMA Standards. Installation Detail: The centrifugal fan will be mounted on a concrete pad, on the surface, adjacent to the portal. There will be no cover and the fan will be exposed to the weather. The Variable Frequency Drive controller will be located approximately 100 feet away in an enclosed building with other non-related electrical gear with no cooling or heating. This is a Small Business Set-Aside.
