- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis 16 NTDS TAP Box Kits that contain the following : CLIN 0001 - (16 each) Part No. 10041 Rev.02 Power Supply Card; CLIN 0002 - (32 each) Part No. 70201-003 Rev. 02 Front Panel Card; CLIN 0003 - (32 each) Part No. 1-171-0005-Rev.01 NTDS-E Card; CLIN 0004 - (16 each) Part No 30205-200 Rev. 02 Tapmain Motherboards from BSU Incorporated. BSU Incorporated 445 East State Street, Ithaca, New York 14852. BSU Corporation is the developer, designer, and manufacturer of the NTDS TAP Box Kits which are proprietary. The items identified are for developmental testing of an existing NSWCDD system. It is essential that the required NTDS TAP BOX Kits are from BSU Incorporated to ensure consistent and accurate test results. No comparable parts or brand names are acceptable. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334418 with a standard size of 500 employees. The orde! r shall be a firm fixed price under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). All items shall be priced FOB destination. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-08-Q-3704. All interested parties should contact the contract specialist at (540) 653-7037 or email andre.lowman@navy.mil. Quotes are due 17 September 2008 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to andre.lowman@navy.mil. The anticipated award date is 20 September 2008. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at Http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing CCR via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained from DOD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
