****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO Garry Biller, Contracting Officer, email: Garry.Biller@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX8F0864AX, NOUN: Shaft Assembly, Driv, NSN: 1615-01-158-9522; P/N: 70361-05001-051; Quantity: 523 each minimum/2223 each maximum 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement applicable to UH-60 Aircraft with deliveries to Tobyhanna, PA and Tracy, CA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 523 each, 320 DACA and then 50 each per month thereafter until contract completion. This requirement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are not solicited from other than small business concerns. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This item is restricted to W&G Machine Company, Inc. (CAGE CODE 33682) and Rotair Industries, Inc. (CAGE CODE: 54878) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
