- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Mt. Weather, VA 20135-2006, intends to negotiate with Infor Global Solutions, Inc., for the renewal of a maintenance agreement for an enterprise asset management software product, “Infor EAM Enterprise Edition,” formerly marketed under the “Datastream 7i” name. A justification of using other than full and open competition, simplified acquisition has been prepared. Infor/Datastream is the manufacturer of the software, is the sole source in the United States and Canada of the software, and owns all proprietary rights thereto. The maintenance agreement for the product, which shall include current patches and upgrades, is considered to be a commercial item IAW FAR Part 13.1. This notice is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive prices. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide the required maintenance, to include descriptive literature for their proposed service AND pricing. Responses shall be in writing and sent to the address identified above, ATTN: Mrs. Debi Foster, or facsimile to 540/542-2632, same ATTN line, or e-mail at the address shown above. Responses must be received five calendar days from date of publication of this announcement. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
