- Description
- The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB intends to procure Next Generation Automatic Terrain Extraction (NGATE) add-on to supplement HQ USSOCOM's Geospatial Branch's existing SOCET SET Automated Terrain Extraction (ATE) application. BAE Systems National Security Solutions is the sole manufacture of both the SOCET SET and the NGATE add-on. This procurement action is for supplies in which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The procedures set forth in FAR part 13.106-3 shall be used.
