- COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request for Quote (RFQ) F3F1S18243A001 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a RFQ. Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). (iii) This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and through Department of Defense Acquisition Regulation Change Notice 20080812. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffar1.htm (iv) This procurement is being issued as UNRESTRICTED. North American Industrial Classification Standard: 337214; Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees (v) Design custom steel consoles to the following specifications: Minimum of 34 inches of usable desk surface width. Assembled console base size to be within 29-30 inches in height, 36-37 inches in width, and 21.5-22.5 inches in depth. Laminate writing surface to be 12 inches deep and conforming to the contours of the separate console areas. All exposed console surfaces to be black in color to match existing ETVS TED turrets. Mounting area must be provided in writing surface for ETVS jack box. Must have cubby hole 2 inches in height, 9 inches in width, and 9 inches in depth in writing surface face to accommodate checklists. Must have louvered locking panels for front of all bases, and side panels for all exposed sides. All consoles except for two must have a hole drilled in writing surface for pole mount for flat panel monitors, centered between edge of ETVS TED turret and console edge. For further information see attached floor plans. CLIN (0001) Deliver the following items for assembly at 266 RANS/DOT: 16 EA BASE FRAME 22 inch D X 29.5 inch H X 36.06 inch W; 16 EA REAR PANEL; 16 EA LOUVERED LEFT HINGE FRONT DOOR; 16 EA SHORT PULL-OUT SHELF; 16 PR MOUNTING ANGLES; 16 EA 34 LAMINATE TOP PANEL; 2 EA 22 inch D X 29.5 inch h X 21.06 inch W; 2 EA 19 REAR PANEL; 2 EA LOUVERED LEFT HINGE SURFACE DOOR; 2 EA PULL-OUT SHELF; 2 PR MOUNTING ANGLES; 2 EA 19 LAMINATE TOP PANEL; 2 EA 45 DEGREE WEDGE; 3 EA SIDE/END PANEL; 5 EA OL/R SIDE/END PANEL; All work surfaces will conform to the contours of the defined areas as shown on the layout (TD, GCI, RTO, and MCD/T) and attach securely to the metal desk base. All work surfaces to be approximately 12 inches in depth, 3-6 inches in height, and length as shown below. Angles in graphic are 45 degree angles; 8 EA POLE MOUNT; 8 EA SINGLE SCISSOR ARM; 0 EA DOUBLE SCISSOR ARM (vi) FOB-Destination for delivery to: 80 Bomber Road, Building 1795, Rooms six & seven. Delivery NLT 31 December 2008. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control (QC). (vii) The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award shall be based on All or None and Best Value to the Government. Best value can include but is not limited to price, delivery date, and technical capability. (viii) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-4 addendum is also included.
